@danaparish@TJUHospital Paxlovid isn’t indicated for hospitalized pts. Not a treatment. Wasn’t studied. I benifit, interested with lots of other drugs. That’s why they’re not doing it.
@northwoods1980 Also Ed flow. To get X-ray, read them ct read is probably 6-7 hours. Still,4 a shift is a lot and probably needs education or interdepartmental discussion. It’s become practice pattern of the group.
@northwoods1980 There are times pt is in too much pain ct is easier, or they are already getting something else scanned. But no trauma? Tough to see that. Outpt mri is pathway. It takes days to weeks to get mri at my shop. I had no trauma pt with foot drop last shift got ct l spine first
