@SamaHoole Hmmm. Started peeing 1-3 flecks of blood 1-2 times a day for 6 months after going carnivore for a month. Went to primary doc, urologist, hematologist then kidney doc. All shrugged and said IDK, don't worry about it. All I could come up with back then was oxalate dumping.
@paulsaladinomd@bryan_johnson I love being a fly on the wall for these conversations. Two master bio hackers sharing details from their journey. If you’re not that into your own optimal biological wellness, then you just won’t connect with the topic…
@dr_ericberg Whole Foods has a private label kimchi that is clean, super tasty and not too offensively pungent which is rare with kimchi… I’d prefer raw milk if I could find it, but since I can’t get it easily, this is my go to fermented food
@David3828279@spearofright@thegarybrecka Functional medicine practitioners across the globe are using PerfectAmino with their patients to help get them dialed in… wait, am I talking to Greek statue?
@David3828279@spearofright@thegarybrecka Waste product marketed properly = your whey protein shakes. Whey has gotten cleaner over the years but your body is still only absorbing 12-15% of the AAs for protein synthesis and the rest is a glucose spike and makes you fart. Look into nitrogen waste studies
@David3828279@spearofright@thegarybrecka Also look into MAP: master amino pattern. It’s the original EAA product that started in the holistic med community in Europe I believe. It became perfect amino then some nitrogen waste studies were done and the formula was tweaked a few times I think.
@spearofright@thegarybrecka If I’m wrong, show me that I am. I have an open mind. That said, freeform AAs bypass digestion and get absorbed through the lining in the stomach. Then the clinical measure of nitrogen waste of these versus whole food sources is how they get the absorption rate.
@spearofright@thegarybrecka 50+%: mothers milk, 40ish% eggs w/ yolk, 32ish% beef/pork/chicken/fish, Whey/Collagen shakes 12ish%. So, when you eat 100% of a piece of steak, a person with impeccable digestion is going to absorb about 32% of those AAs.
@LloydDurwin@thegarybrecka Still better for you than whey, collagen, and BCAAs…collagen-in does not = collagen out, BCAAs are incomplete amino acid profiles , and whey = blood glucose spike.
@LongevityLadder@thegarybrecka Most people’s digestion is compromised which inhibits them from properly getting all of the amino acids they need out of the food they eat. This bypasses digestion and is absorbed through the lining in the stomach, which also makes it a great protein source for fasting.
