It first made us book indigo flights.. charged "convenience fee". Then retained their fee when tickets were cancelled by Indigo. 700 rupees made on every ticket! Indigo cancelled some 900 crore worth ticket and MMT ciphoned 80 crore plus in this scheme.

n 2018, Italian courts shut down a chemical company whose toxic discharge polluted local waters, harming 3.5 lakh people and causing cancer, organ failure, and reproductive disorders. All of the company owners & directors were penalised & jailed.

In 2019, only one company bid to buy all its banned technology, equipment, and processes to set up the same plant & produce the same advanced chemicals in Maharashtra.

A passenger booked an airline for route ABC -> XYZ for ₹10000. Flight is on 9th December.

On 8th December, Airline Informs existing passenger that flight on route ABC -> XYZ is cancelled. Passenger has already web checked-in and refund is yet to be processed. But Passenger really has to travel.

He checks on the official website. He finds the same flight from ABC -> XYZ is now at ₹20000. Apparently the "CANCELLED" flight can be booked by new customers.

This is just unacceptable. If you actually check the rules, @IndiaCinepolis, the Cinematograph Act and government guidelines talk only about PSAs, capped at 2 minutes. And even with ads, if the showtime says 06:20 PM, you’re supposed to roll the main film by 06:30 PM. That’s the whole point of listing a start time.

But you started the movie at 06:38 PM. You know it. I know it. It’s the kind of thing that should land you in consumer court, but you get away with it because most people won’t bother dragging you there. So you keep stretching it.

The interval was another joke. Twenty one minutes for what exactly. A 3 hour 34 minute film turning into a 4 hour 13 minute sit is just disrespectful of people’s time.

And the worst part is you can’t even pretend this is standard across the industry. QUBE operated screens like Wave Cinemas and Asian Cinemas, across roughly 3000 screens nationwide, cap the total ads plus interval promos at around 20 minutes. It’s not rocket science. It’s just discipline.

Maybe follow that instead of squeezing every extra minute you can.
