I was just asked "I've recently received a high income benefit child benefit charge. I earn £53k my wife £12.5k. Yet I've read if we both earned £49k, we wouldn't have received the charge . How is that fair?"

We’re going to spend decades negotiating to help tackle the impact of Brexit on everything from the music industry and the City of London to car manufacturing and tourism. Instead, why can’t politicians explain to voters why it’s in the U.K’s interest to be inside the single market and customs union. There is no country in Western Europe that isn’t in some combination of these, or is applying to join. How are we the only one whose national interest is to be entirely separate from the continent’s market structures? I honestly think politicians underestimate the intelligence of voters. Nobody has really bothered to explain to people what the single market and customs union actually do.

In Maths, RW have been estimating to see how many objects are in the baskets. Then we counted the objects to see how close we were to our estimations ⭐️

"Maths" being compulsory for all pupils up to the age of 18 is stupid as it alienates pupils that struggle with maths, focus should be improving Maths education for younger pupils by showing them maths can be enjoyable rather than concentrating on tests.

I’m not surprised about this. Whilst much Brexit damage is perhaps intangible for many people, the passport queues, stamps and restrictions for non-dual nationals are very ‘in your face’. I expect this to become an increasingly important issue that will have to be addressed.
