@tomrose @AllisonPearson my nephew "in law" escaped from iran 12 years ago. Arrived in the uk by small boat and claimed asylum.
He now goes "home" for 6 weeks holiday every year with his British wife and his son.
They fly to dubai then on to Tehran
i always wonder if his life really was under threat.
