Chad is facing multiple and interconnected crises. Large-scale displacement, food insecurity, climate shocks, disease outbreaks, and limited access to basic services continue to affect millions of people.

This week, members of the IFRC Donor Advisory Group (DAG), led by @NenaStoiljkovic and Spain/@ @CruzRojaEsp are in Chad to witness the realities on the ground firsthand: meeting government officials, listening to communities, seeing the remarkable work of the @CroixRougeTchad and its volunteers, identifying critical gaps, and strengthening our collective call for greater humanitarian support.

The convening has set off with productive exchanges with the National Society, the @IFRCAfrica, and other Movement partners, engaging on how we continue working together to support people affected by multiple humanitarian challenges.

Samedi 17 février 2024, @CroixRougeMali organise 1 téléthon sur #ORTM, visant à financer un progr. d’aide en faveur des familles obligées de fuir leurs villages, à cause de la violence, pour se réfugier à Kamaneguela, #Mali.

To respond to the growing needs of communities in Mali affected by the #HungerCrisis, @IFRCAfrica - in coordination with #RedCross #RedCresnt Movement partners - is helping @CroixRougeMali to scale-up its response plan.

To this end, 8 million Swiss francs is needed.
