We are seeing a big trend unfolding with companies stepping up to buy the .com version of their brand and once again, the more memorable the url, the bigger the purchase price is becoming.

I remember domain brokers telling me https://t.co/XWsGM6KyYl is a good name and I should expect low six-figure offers and that I should jump on any.

I didn't think it made any sense and I have continued to hold the domain, knowing brands will realize that words that are memorable, category-defining, mission-driven, and have an added feel-good connotation are priceless in a world that knows attention is the name of the game and your brand being easy to remember is a huge factor.
