What an embarrassment. @ABDanielleSmith you should be ashamed and immediately resign. You are clearly not the least bit qualified to lead this province.
This morning: drove to Banff, ZERO parking available anywhere near the hot springs, drove home. Just spent 21$ to drive through town and was told no refunds by parks canada. Thanks for nothing @BanffNP@Banff_Town
@calgaryherald How about, instead of detaining workers, we just immediately grant them immigration status? How could that hurt? They’re clearly willing to work, just pay them and stop policing their existence.
The UCP claimed that well-fitting medical masks are as effective as N95s, but whatever these are, they ain’t well fitting. Here’s my 8YO (gr 3) and 4.5YO (~kinder-sized) in a mask they sent my daughter’s school for K-4. Our modifications to improve fit are threaded. #covid19AB
This is so far the best solution I’ve heard. Pretending that putting China in the national spotlight without acknowledging the human rights violations is not an option. Olympic Games cannot claim to be apolitical but celebrate totalitarian regimes. https://t.co/WEugAD4yPu

I am on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot and Peoples of Treaty 7 including Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai, Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nation.
@AHS_media@jkenney I would really like to get my second dose, which you have assured me I can get if I want it. So, can someone explain to me how after waiting for half an hour in line and entering all of my information, this is what I get.
@ShawnaGofABPoli@CMOH_Alberta@AHS_media The brilliance is that the school I teach at didn't have enough cases in the region to close before the full provincial lockdown, but the school next to my house did. Multiple people on staff all got COVID from being at work, while we were being told there was no risk. 2/2
@ShawnaGofABPoli@CMOH_Alberta@AHS_media Fun followup, did you know that you case counts for the numbers of your home area, not where you contracted it? This means that for myself (and whole bunch of others out there who commute for work), my positive COVID result counted towards YYC and not Rockyview! 1/2
@Donnaross5Ross@albertateachers Lucky you. I'll make sure to let my colleagues know that you haven't personally had any problems. That totally makes up for all of us who actually contracted COVID from being forced to work in person in a school in the middle of an outbreak in our community.
@RachelNotley my UCP MLA @doug_schweitzer won't respond to me. I'd appreciate any help you can give. I know you're busy but the proper channels are ignoring me. The @Alberta_UCP and the @albertateachers aren't doing anything to help.
I have reached out to my MLA @doug_schweitzer multiple times over the past 3 weeks and have had no response other than a voicemail from a staffer asking me to email, and then of course I didn't receive and answer to my email. Now that the Legislature is on a 2 week hiatus 1/2
I would imagine I would hear back quickly. But it remains to be seen. I would love and explanation as to why I am currently at work (at a high school) but it is apparently unsafe for our MLAs to be at work. Clearly this government just cares about protecting itself. 2/2
