Springbok captain Siya Kolisi wanted to visit Wynberg Boys since their war cry went viral. It was his idea to surprise the boys.

The cheer team, led by Leighton Morton (17), scripted a Bok-inspired battle cry ahead of Springboks’ Freedom Cup win 🏆✊🏽🇿🇦

For the first time in the history of rugby; a team are holders of back-to-back World Cups, the Lions Series, the Rugby Championship, the Freedom Cup and the Qatar Airways Cup at the same time

The 2019 - 2024 Springboks are the greatest international rugby team of all-time 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Oh my god @BBCMaryam.

Snoop Dogg is a torchbearer: "Luckily, whilst he was carrying the torch he didn't drop like it's hot, drop it like it's hot."

My homesick South African heart is overflowing with love and happiness after seeing the most amazing performances by @ArnoCarstens, @ardmatthews and @RossLearmonth at Shepherd's Bush tonight! Absolutely loved every second of the Saffa vibes and sing-along!

[Dominique Harmse @DomtheMom]

@sangxa I may have sent it to a few friends back in SA ;-) you were the first person I spotted in a Rise shirt today and I was so happy to see it!

[Dominique Harmse @DomtheMom]

@sangxa @Rise_Mzansi Voted for @Rise_Mzansi today in London, the queue was long, but it was awesome to hear the Saffa accents and feel 'at home' for a few hours :-)

@0nline635 Try Aqua, I had a similar score to you and they gave me a small limit to start with, which increased after 3 months

GROWN UPS

Netflix will bring @MarianKeyes’ best selling novel Grown Ups to the screen as an ensemble family drama. Based on three couples - Nell and Liam, Cara and Ed, Jessie and Rory. Like most families, the Caseys are a complicated bunch. Coming 2026.

Tracy Chapman — who hasn’t performed live in years — just sang “Fast Car” on stage with Luke Combs at the Grammy’s.

The backstory behind this collaboration is incredible.

Combs’ first favourite song ever was “Fast Car”. He covered it in early 2023 as a country version and the song hit #1 on country charts in July.

Chapman owns the song’s composition rights and became the first black female to top the Country chart as a sole writer.

What did she think of the cover?

Chapman told Billboard at the time: “I never expected to find myself on the country charts, but I’m honored to be there. I’m happy for Luke….and grateful that new fans have found and embraced ‘Fast Car.’”

Combs honored the original version, which he first listened to when his dad popped a cassette in the car.

“You want to just be mega respectful of the original song,” says the 33-year old country singer, per CMT. “That’s why in [my cover], it’s, ‘work in the market as a checkout girl.’ I didn’t change that…I really wanted to just do the original version of the song.”

Them performing it together tonight is perfection.

The way RG appears from stage right is literally a sitcom cameo entrance.

@KirstBallard Whereas here in the UK, there are even Marmite and cheese flavoured 'hot cross buns' or blueberry or apple or chocolate chips... the choices go on and on! 😂

[Kitty @kitzluvs]

I was today years old when I found out the actual name of a Jaffel in Afrikaans is a Knypkoek.😂😂 I thought a Knypkoek was when I really needed to pee and there is no loo around.🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I'll show myself out now.

@RediTlhabi That veggie spice is the BEST! I bought 4 bottles when I was in SA a few months ago. That and jelly powder, Nando's bushveld braai sauce and lemon creams 🤤

@YesReallyAngel Who's she, the cat's mother? (When I would say 'she' instead of the person's name, generally an older female adult)
