My mother was good at letting things go.
You can’t keep carrying negative baggage and live a victorious life. Let’s be encouraged today: God is bigger than anything that comes against you.
Mary Most Holy, you have been granted the privilege of seeing our Transfigured Lord in the glory of Heaven. Help us to believe what we do not yet see and to rejoice with you and all the angels and saints in His radiance and splendor.
I hate to tell you – it's Friday the 13th. But you don't have to be scared, because June 13thhappens to be the feast of one of the most powerful, popular saints in the Catholic calendar: St. Anthony of Padua! Known as a worker of miracles even in his lifetime, he was a tremendous confessor with a deep compassion for the vulnerable and a man of intense mystical prayer. Happy feast of St. Anthony, everybody! @thegnewsroom

“No one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit” (Jn 3:5). In baptism, we are born again into the death and resurrection of our Redeemer.
Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, too many of your children still suffer from the three main crises of our time: poor health, insufficient food, and a lack of work. Inspire us to reach out to, and assist, our sisters and brothers in need.
Let us entrust to Mary this new Jubilee Year. Let us entrust to her our worries, our sufferings, our joys, and all the concerns that we bear in our hearts. Let us entrust to her the whole world, so that hope may be reborn and peace may spring up for all the peoples of the earth.
St. Michael the Archangel is our protector and our guardian. Do you know the beautiful prayer to him? I always feel a little more secure after saying that prayer. @thegnewsroom
The Word of God repeats to us, as to Bartimaeus: “Take heart; get up, He is calling you.” Let us throw off the cloak of apathy and entrust our blindness to the Lord. Let us stand and carry the joy of the Gospel through the streets of the world. #GospelOfTheDay
Today is the feast of Pope St. John Paul II. I say that with great joy, because I loved him, as we all did. Last week we celebrated the anniversary of his election. He captivated the world with two expressions. @thegnewsroom
Let us #PrayTogether for those who seek war and those who spark them, stir them up senselessly, prolong them uselessly, or cynically profit from them. May God enlighten their hearts, and set before their eyes the trail of misfortune they cause!
Tonight’s Candlelight Procession in Fatima, Portugal, on the eve of the 107th Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun, and Our Lady’s final apparition in Cova da Iria.
