Posting about startups, tech, and life.
It dawned on me that I'm pretty burnt out from vibe coding.
I'm not coding, but I'm also *not* not coding. I'm stuck in this weird in-between state where I spend hours a day babysitting agents.
I spin up maybe 4-5 agents and rotate between them to see which ones need my attention. Then I give one a prompt and wait for the next agent to stop.
If models are smart enough to solve millennium prize problems, they can do my job. I need to channel my inner @poteto and automate myself away.
@patientinvestor@dividendology I respect you both and I watch both of your content. But I don't look at dividendology's chart and think to myself "that's patient investor's chart". These content is very commoditized and is just part of FinX.
We’re building Copilot as a new OS for work that spans every model, every form factor, and every task. Today, we’re announcing our biggest update to Copilot to date, bringing four things together:
· Autopilot: proactive and long-running agent built for the enterprise
· Code: build apps with Copilot, hosted inside your company’s tenant
· Home: Chat + Cowork together
· Office: now fully embedded in Copilot (and Copilot embedded in Office, of course!)
Plus, you can invoke Copilot in Teams, and we’re introducing Today, a proactive experience that surfaces the most important information from across M365 without needing to ask for it.
The way we work is changing and so are our workflows. This update brings AI into that flow, from answering a question, to building an app, to getting work done on your behalf.
1 billion Muse tokens for you. 1 billion for your friend.
Referrals are now live in Muse! Invite up to 20 friends and you'll each get 1 billion tokens when they onboard and redeem your code. That's up to 20 billion Muse tokens for you. https://t.co/xOcWxCq1uy
Separating chats by "threads," "bots," or "projects" (how the OG chatbots worked) is bad UX. It places the responsibility on me to remember which thread I was in, or which bot was for which task.
Ideally, I just want to talk to a "god" AI that knows everything. Maybe under the hood it still delegates chats to bots, or organizes things by projects, but I don’t need to know that.
I tried out @Muse, and my conclusion is that AGI for everyday errands is already here.
Everyday tasks like sending emails, canceling subscriptions, and planning vacations can already be handled by many models on the market.
There are still differences in the plumbing and UX, like who has more connectors, or who has the smoother browser use. But the tech and UX will quickly converge, and everyone will have the same product.
What's left is distribution and who can offer the product the cheapest. Feels like a tough market for startups like Instinct or @TownAI .
Last week, I took a vacation to Hawaii. During that time OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google all released new models.
Meanwhile, we met a lady making leis from ti leaves, just like her great great grandmother did.
