[Will Burchfield @burchie_kid]

Ahmed Hassanein on spreading the love in Allen Park.

His coach at Boise State used to tell him before practice, "I love you. Let's go get it."

"So first year I told Dan, 'Hey Coach, I love you.' And he goes: 🤨🤨 "Back at you." And then this year ... he said, "I love you too."

[Jeremy Reisman @DetroitOnLion]

So Francis Mauigoa and Kadyn Proctor will both start their NFL careers at guard.

Guess that means the Lions got the second-best tackle in the class behind Spencer Fano.

I don't make the rules.

The #Lions are declining the fifth-year option on All-Pro LB Jack Campbell, per @DanMillerFox2.

The option for Campbell was worth nearly $22M, which no off-ball linebacker currently makes.

All linebackers—both OLBs and ILBs—are grouped together for the option formula, creating a unique situation similar to what the #Ravens faced with Tyler Linderbaum as a center.

Campbell now is set to be a free agent next year, barring an extension.

[Mike Garafolo @MikeGarafolo]

The #Bears’ deal for WR/KR Kalif Raymond, per me and @RapSheet: One year, $5.1 million in a deal negotiated by his agent @EnterSportsMgmt. After five seasons in Detroit, Raymond heads to Chicago.

[Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero]

Former Giants interim coach Mike Kafka is joining the Lions in a high-ranking offensive staff role, per sources.

Kafka, 38, has been a finalist for multiple head coaching jobs in recent years. Now, an opportunity to learn from one of the best with Dan Campbell in Detroit.

You'll always be a legend in Detroit @DanSkipper70
Hope to see you back on the sidelines, with a headset, one day.

And the winner is...

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Still Detroit vs Everybody. SMDH

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Weak PI call to keep the drive going. This defense has been incredible.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Miles Frazier has had his 21-day evaluation period started.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Some less than optimal news from Dan Campbell who said, "Mahogany is going to be out for a while.”

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Looked to me like Campbell caught himself instead of coming down in top of McCarthy. Rough call.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Four more years!

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Gibbs is carrying the ball and this offense.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Tampa sure is being given a lot of second chances.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

Rodgers can still throw the deep ball.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

@erikschlitt Somebody realized it was a bad look. Not somebody in pre-production, production, or post-production. But somebody.

[DontKnowGrit @DontKnowGrit]

@Ryan_POD Feels like some are missing the point in that the NFL put out a drag piece about one of their employees. Not helping the anti-Lions accusations.
