@Ryan_Parkerrr I think it's hilarious that Republicans make fun of Democrats who say they're going to leave the country, then turn around and do the same thing. It's such a hilarious self-own.
@Fat_Electrician And a lot of them are built in areas where those things are already somewhat less plentiful than more built-up areas, meaning they often pay more AND get less.
@Fat_Electrician They frequently get sweetheart deals on power and water, to the point that everyone in the surrounding area is subsidizing the power usage of a data center that might not actually be providing any benefit to them at all.
@TychoBrahe Honestly, you can run basically any distro you want. When I finally got everything wiped, I just installed Kubuntu, and I've been using it without issue. I don't think it would be any different if I were to use Fedora or anything else. I'm just the most comfy with Debian stuff.

If I did the same amount of work in the US and in, say, South Sudan, I would have very different outcomes.
