Another milestone for the #IndianNavy!

The seventh Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC), indigenously designed and built by @cslcochin, was launched at Kochi by Mrs Goolrukh Anand in the presence of VAdm Atul Anand, Addl Secretary #DMA, on 29 Jul 26.

Powered by three waterjets and equipped with state-of-the-art underwater sensors, advanced weapons and mine-laying capabilities, the ship is a potent ASW platform that will significantly strengthen the Indian Navy's Anti-Submarine Warfare capabilities in the Indian Ocean Region.

The ship is named after Machilipatnam, the historic port city of Andhra Pradesh, reflecting India’s Maritime rich heritage and enduring seafaring traditions.

Historic Moment for Indian Fencing! 🇮🇳🤺

In a landmark achievement for Indian sport, #IndianNavy's Taniksha Khatri, CPO and Prachi Lohan, PO, have become the first-ever Indian women Épée fencers to reach the prestigious Main Table of 64 at the Senior World Fencing Championships in Hong Kong.

Reaching the Table of 64 (Direct Elimination Round) against the world's elite marks an unprecedented milestone for the Nation and the Navy.
