Did you know you can use texture projection to simulate caustics in Unity? If you want the projection to be affected by shadows, simply multiply the shadows by the texture projection.

To get a comic-book style image without any telltale AI glitches, I just followed three simple steps:
1. I identified an artist whose style I wanted to replicate.
2. I took some selfies.
3. I grabbed my credit card and I *paid the artist* to actually draw a portrait.

@NickDCarver@BourassaArt Competing with talent, salaries went up 30~40~140%. I told this to my boss, I was told to just do as I was told and do my job… I recently laid off the team I hired and was laid off myself
@NickDCarver@BourassaArt We were told to hire more recruiters, x4~x6 more recruiter than before, everyone knew it was not sustainable. The new recruiter told us the same thing: people don’t grow on trees, supply/demand. There’s no supply.
@BourassaArt What was the long-term thinking with all the investment during the pandemic? That covid would never end? That people who'd never been into games before would continue with it once restrictions were lifted? A new plague? Seems like a lot of people didn't really think it through...
In 1956, there was a TV show called "The World We Want" in which high school students from all over the world were invited to the United States to have candid discussions on social issues and current events.
One student by the name of Raul Contreras from the Philippines sat down with three other students from Indonesia (Ratnati Iskandar Dinata), Japan (Yoriko Konishi), and the UK (Judith Reader). They were asked to share their own prejudices.
Contreras began by facing Konishi and saying, "Being brutally frank, I am prejudiced against [the] Japanese. Not to the extent that I hate them, but I got this as a result of World War II."
For context, Imperial Japan committed numerous atrocities across Asia, including the Philippines. The Manila massacre, which took place in 1945, led to the murder of at least 100,000 civilians.
Despite his anger, Contreras also took the time to express empathy towards the Japanese civilians of post-war Japan and their struggles to help pay war reparations. "Most of them even have to suffer the cold in the classrooms because they can't afford to heat the schools," he said.
The conversation amongst the students soon turned to that of skin color and segregation in American society. The above clip shows Contreras highlighting the hypocrisy in America's pledge of allegiance, which states "liberty and justice for all."
Studio Drift's Shylight is a sculpture that unfolds and retreats to its original state to make a fascinating choreography, mirroring the nyctinasty of real flowers. These are in Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum
