It's Thanksgiving in the USA, and I am especially thankful for the *AMERICAN* car industry and the truly fantastic *AMERICAN* cars it produces -- like the Cadillac BLS. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

I saw a Cadillac BLS this spring in Vienna, and I snapped photo 3 below as I was overcome with patriotic pride upon seeing a Cadillac teaching Europe how to build a car.

Long live the American car industry and American products like the Cadillac BLS -- and Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🇺🇸

@pagesix1536 I've been driving for 20 years, same for me until yesterday :) I'm not sure what caused the tire to fail, but I definitely made it worse by driving on it about a half-mile to get to a safe place to stop. It didn't look THAT bad when it first happened.

@TimeForTouchUp Yes, Falcon Wildpeak which is the OE tire. Truck only has 6,000 miles on it, of which 5,000 were done in four days. I still don’t know what I hit!

@HooviesGarage Indeed. And I think the spare steelie actually looks better than the OE wheel. Maybe I’ll replace the others with spares, too 😂

@Beandoc2 Yep. Tire blowout, but I wasn’t in a safe place so I had to drive on it a bit to get to one. It was pretty mangled even when it happened and I first got out to check, though. Rapid tire destruction!
