@gunpolicy You are missing the key point. The defense missed the deadline to respond to Requests for Admissions. Big whoopsie. They are deemed admitted and that can often make a plaintiff’s case. The defense filed a motion to undo the whoopsie. Judge: “Nope!” Not about briefing schedule.

@MorosKostas Kavanaugh has authored only 4 opinions this term. 4 left. Roberts will write birthright. That puts all others at 6-7 opinions. My pure speculation? Kavanaugh is working on the PC opinion. I mean, someone has to write it even if no one signs it.

For what it is worth, I don’t thing it necessarily needs to be per curiam/GVR. Right? And maybe the fact they already GVR’d Duncan will motivate them to just get it done?

@MorosKostas I’m still saying GVR or per curiam after Wolford/Hemani. Re-read Snope the other day. Pretty strong positions by several justices to just deny at this point.

@MrLeadslinger If you can find Mil Match a-tips, try that. Runs a bit hotter and more accurate than 108 ELDM for me. Hornady dumped a bunch on the market a few months ago and some is still floating around.
