Couples in which the woman is the primary breadwinner—defined as earning more than 60% of the couple's total income—are more likely to separate in every country except Hungary and Cyprus.

The size of the effect varied across countries, reports @rlhopcro, citing the latest research.

Researchers also found that the relationship between female breadwinning and separation has diminished but not disappeared among younger cohorts.

He claims that synthetic pesticides on produce are harming families.

The data say the residues are typically a tiny fraction of very conservative safety limits.
