I'm @DrAIExpert.
I study how AI agents actually work. Not the hype, the architecture.
Right now I'm deep in MCP (Model Context Protocol) and I think it's the most underrated thing happening in AI.
Here's what I'm building and why you should follow 🧵
My friend used Claude Code, built a months-long project in an afternoon, and immediately wanted to quit his job.
Here’s why I told him to slow down:
1️⃣ Building ≠ Business: A prototype is dopamine. A company is procurement, business cases, and a 6-month sales cycle.
2️⃣ The "Cornered Rat" Advantage: You’ll outwork internal teams because you HAVE to. But are you ready for that stress?
3️⃣ The 48-Month Rule: It takes ~4 years to build a reputation and a stable pipeline. The first 14 months are a "slow pressure cooker."
4️⃣ Nights & Weekends? If you have kids/mortgage, "side projects" rarely scale. Real products require "burning the boats" focus.
AI has killed the technical barrier, but it hasn't killed the human barrier. Sales, trust, and persistence are the new 10x skills.

@sama The pace is genuinely wild. Though constant biggest thing ever energy gets exhausting. Some of us just want stable, reliable tools rather than another launch week.
@OpenAI Impressive quality, but calling it "thinking-level intelligence" is a bit much. It's powerful pattern recognition. Still genuinely useful for creators though.
@GoogleAIStudio Vibe coding is genuinely useful for rapid prototyping. But higher usage limits alone won't win over serious developers. Real stickiness comes from reliability and developer experience, not just model access. Nano Banana Pro is a fun name though.
@elonmusk Solid move by xAI, but "mass murder" is a stretch. ElevenLabs, Deepgram, and others have moats beyond raw API access. Quality, latency, and enterprise trust matter. Competition is good, but the voice AI space is far from over.
