As an Iranian, I’m telling Americans directly:

Iranians in Iran are still very much pro-America — and particularly pro the Republican Party, conservative ideals, and admire the Constitution of the United States. But JD Vance has betrayed all of this.

The recent posts from Iranians expressing anger over this Iran deal are not anti-American. The criticism is aimed at specific actions and specific figures, not at the United States itself.

Trump didn’t have to engage at all. But he chose to, made promises, and now this path is clearly benefiting the Islamic Republic and the IRGC far more than the Iranian people who have been bleeding for decades. This outcome is worse than if he had done nothing.

The 40,000+ Iranians who gave their lives did not die so the IRGC could sit at the negotiating table and walk away with concessions from the United States. And the nuclear program? Still unsolved. Still a loaded gun that can be used against the world later.

Iranians respected the firm, principled approaches of Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent. But figures like JD Vance have moved Trump into a very weak and deeply unpopular position.

There is still hope that President Trump can come back to strength. But JD Vance and everyone pushing this direction have betrayed the American people, betrayed the ideals we both believe in, and betrayed the historic chance to finally rid the world of the Islamic Republic.

We see who is standing with the Iranian people — and who is not. Really JD Vance? "Give them a chance". Islamic Republic has had 47 years of chance and numerous deals with the west, none have beem adhered to and the Islamic terror has been amplified and globalized.

King Reza Pahlavi's leadership through a transion out of Islamic Republic is still the only viable path.

Israel is fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon because:

1. It is unleashing thousands of missiles and drones against Israel, and attacks Israel everyday all day long

2. Hezbollah is trying to depopulate northern Israel and eventually parts of central Israel, as Israelis are forces to leave their communities

3. The Lebanese government and army are incapable of, and unwilling to, stop Hezbollah from operating in its country (a civil war was started by the Iranian-linked Muslim terror group against the majority Christian country and Hezbollah maintains ultimate control, particularly over the South)

4. No other country on the planet would tolerate this kind of terrorism committed against its people without a strong military response

5. 6. All Israelis and all political parties there are united in the need to crush Hezbollah

With our internet partially restored (home WiFi is back, cell data still blocked), the Persian timeline has exploded — and millions of voices inside Iran are now saying out loud exactly what people like me were screaming into the void during the blackout: No deals with the Islamic Republic. None. Ever.

The 1979 revolution triggered a huge migration wave, yes. But the biggest exoduses from Iran after that, have never happened during wars or crackdowns. They’ve happened right after the regime signed deals with the United States.

In 2009 the Green Movement shook the regime to its core. It was crushed. Then the Obama administration gave the Islamic Republic its biggest legitimacy boost in decades with the JCPOA. Iranians watched their hope for real change die on live television and voted with their feet — the largest migration wave since 1979.

In 2022-2023 the Mahsa Amini uprising (Women, Life, Freedom) did the same. Achievements, then brutal suppression. Then the Biden administration rushed into new deals and sanctions relief. Result? Another record migration — especially to Canada, Sweden, and the United States. People saw the regime was going to survive and thrive again, so they left.

Contrast that with actual war.

The 12-day war with Israel? No major migration wave.

The 40-day war with the U.S.-Israel coalition? Unprecedented lack of migration. A country at war for over a month, yet Iranians stayed put. Because for once they saw the regime under real pressure — not being handed another lifeline.

Mark my words: the moment a new treaty is signed and the Islamic Republic is officially legitimized again, the next migration tsunami will begin. The regime, freshly empowered and emboldened, will oppress, murder and rape with renewed fury — and the people who still dared to hope will finally pack their bags.

We don’t want any deals with the Islamic Republic.
We want the regime gone.

Historian Constantin Zureiq wrote in his 1948 book Ma’na al-Nakba (The Meaning of the Nakba), the catastrophe was that the Arab world started a war, and lost.

When Israel declared independence on May 14, 1948, explicitly inviting Arab residents to remain and help build the new state, five Arab armies invaded, expecting to wipe Israel off the map in a matter of days.

Confident in victory, Arab leaders broadcast calls for "Palestinian" Arabs to temporarily leave, promising they would return after the Jews were annihilated.

700,000 Arabs fled, but 156,000 stayed, and became full citizens of Israel.

Today, their descendants make up over 20% of the Israeli population, with voting rights, representation in government, access to education, and more freedoms than Arabs in all neighboring states.

What caused the exodus?

- Exaggerated accounts of Zionist atrocities, fabricated or amplified by Arab leaders, were deliberately spread.

According to many witnesses, these narratives were intended to instill fear in the hearts of Arabs in neighboring towns and compel them to flee.

- Instructions from Arab leadership to evacuate temporarily, anticipating a swift military victory.

- Fear of disease outbreaks, like cholera.

They say the Nakba hasn’t ended. Because Israel still exists.

They mourn not the consequences of war, they mourn the failure to destroy the Jewish state.

They grieve not because Arabs were displaced, but because Jews survived.
