@Clevta Will they be bad next year?, yea probably, but the goal is long-term success. stability gives you a chance to build a team the right way over time. LV, CLE, ETC give a guy 1 year. You can't build a team in 1 yr, so stability to slow build is a big deal. HC's will want this job.
@Six4now@Spicyoreo157@theblockspot Absolutely, that was the case when Brady left. Took NE a few years and a false start, but they are a super bowl contender now. Likely won't be next year they get one, but done right it might only be 2 or 3. I will take a few years of bad football over 10 more years of meh.
@Six4now@Spicyoreo157@theblockspot He had some success and likely will again for another team. However, after 10 years of the same meh result it is time to try something new for both of them.
@22ZP22@dangainor@theblockspot Maybe you are right and only he could win those games. But after 10 years of the same results it is time to try something new. The Andy Ried model is a good one. He and PHi needed a new start. He won in KC and PHI won without him, but both needed new... Same here.
@Take_A_Chantz @Kgomez83@DomDiTommaso Well, if the offense is only going to get 6 points you have to stop them every time. Just not a realistic expectation.
@Kgomez83@DomDiTommaso They gave up 7 points s and had 3 turn overs through 3 quarters. They finally gave up a second td in the end when they were gassed. They problem was NOT the defense. Could they have done better against the run? Sure, but they did enough to win this game.
@seanr19@MarkMaddenX Like Tomlin he has his strengths and weaknesses and I can see where had cost them important games, but it is also hard to see them finding someone better.
@Steelersdepot Hard to say. There are two steelers teams. The playoff contenders that just won 3 in a row, then there is the worst ass team in the league that just lost to the Browns... Who knows which one will show up.
@ATLSteel1@PittsburghSport Yea, there will be a lot of bad plays for them, but the decision to throw to the endzone on 4th and a couple yards will be the key play that costs them the game.
@CapitanoJacko@ThePoniExpress I never get that argument. How is it any less football than the traditional QB sneak? Or a RB dive over the top for a yard. It is a short yardage play to get 1 yd. It is not meant to be exciting. It is just get the dirty work done.
