@ArthroscopyJ I’ve done this for years and agree the clinical outcome is the same but the collagen crossing the joint line likely reduces superior forces and unloads the repair. It also works with simply tenodesis in situ. The intrarticular portion doesn’t seem to hurt when you stabilize it.
