Today @ChiefKidd joined @GovAbbott as he issued a state disaster declaration in response to the #coronavirus. @TDEM continues to work with @TexasDSHS and all state agencies to coordinate the state’s efforts to support local governments and protect the health of Texans.

We are proud of our #TXEMTF Infectious Disease Response Unit's (IDRU) physicians, nurses, & paramedics. The IDRU is currently the sole provider of medical care & transport for confirmed #COVID19 patients in Texas. Their training and dedication make Texas a safer place for all.
