About 14 people died monthly from Road Traffic Accidents at @efsthsurgery between Nov 2020-Jul 2021. An additional 678 survived with injuries. These injuries leave physical & psychological scars on victims and place huge economic burden on them, families & our Health System.

Growing up in rural Gambia(URR), seeing the sufferings of many people in my community who require surgical care and are unable to access care due to a shortage of specialist, distance and other barriers.
I chose to specialize in General Surgery to reduce their sufferings.
