The country on strike. Massive numbers on the streets. Internet cut. Mullahs seen at Moscow airport. Yet the regime still shoot at protestors. Many dead. But the people keep on coming. The courage of our fellow human beings is staggering. #IranRevolution2026
Tehran tonight ⬇️
@NUFDIran They are testing the resolve of Iranian people. Territorial integrity of our ancestral land Iran is our red line whether we live in Iran or not. Persian Gulf ❤️
“Women with this much resilience and experience can make things happen. We want them to be part of the community that helps Australia thrive." Read about @amiranu2ta & others behind @UNSW JINA initiative to support refugee uni students https://t.co/8njxB9zz2c via @timeshighered
When I say that Iranian women are wounded, but unbowed to their oppressors, I mean it. Just look at the injured body of Sadaf Baghbani, who was shot during a peaceful protest in Iran, after the murder of Mahsa Amini in the hand of Hijab Police to understand why we millions of Iranians believe that Gender apartheid regime must be eradicated, not reformed.
Sadaf wrote on her instagram:
“For years, I lived in a society where I was punished for all my actions and rumors were spread about me. But now, I want to scream out this anger once and for all and say that my body and my gender are not societal norms. For years, whatever I did, you told me, ‘don’t break the norms.’
This is me.
This is my body.
Drenched in the norms that you broke.”
This picture and her story exposes the brutal gender apartheid regime that seeks to control and violate women’s bodies, yet fails to break their spirit.
I’m honored to announce that another powerful woman has joined our campaign, United Against Gender Apartheid.
Düzen Tekkal, a Yazidi journalist and human rights activist, says, “We will never forget Jina Mahsa Amini, Nika Shakarami, and Armita Garavand.”
Düzen Tekkal became a prominent voice after the Yazidi genocide by ISIS and has now joined our efforts in Iran and Afghanistan to define and criminalize gender apartheid everywhere.
The United Against Gender Apartheid campaign invites all politicians and activists from democratic countries to join us.

16-year-old Armita Geravand is now in a coma after being beaten by the morality police of the Islamic regime (which the New York Times said was disbanded). On November 2nd, the Islamic regime will be Chair of the U.N. Human Rights Council Social Forum. Why, @antonioguterres?
“The hijab law is really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the discriminatory laws affecting women [in Iran].” Such a powerful interview between @HollyBranson and human rights lawyer, @GissouNia. Here's more: https://t.co/THDGgZ002o #EndGenderApartheid
In a detailed analysis published today @amnesty exposes the Iranian authorities’ intensified nationwide crackdown on women and girls who choose not to wear headscarves in public. https://t.co/Q5uvXITKE1
Incredible video. Afghan dad jokingly says school is only for boys. Watch his remarkable daughter - who can’t be more than 5 or 6 years old - respond with these arguments.
Afghan girls have been denied access to schools and universities. This little girl's courage represents the collective voice of countless Afghan girls who yearn for equal educational opportunities.
As an advocate for girls' education the father's teasing is simply to highlight an important message: that the Taliban - another backward regime - are harming the people of his country.
It’s time the world is done with them.
Ditto the “Islamic” Republic in Iran #regime
Support for mother of #KianPirfalak & others who lost children to the Islamic republic. She has often spoken out against the regime despite them killing her child, her cousin and paralysing her husband, representing the deep resilience of the #WomanLifeFreedom movement.
Inspiring footage. Despite intensely oppressive gender apartheid of the horrendous “Islamic” regime, the people inside Iran still manage to find joy.
