@SinhaNeerajsinh @SamsungUK Yes very annoying. The hinge is intrinsic functionality of the flip. So must be covered by warranty unless Samsung can prove abnormal activity. A scratch on the outer case is not sufficient reason, so I will be raising a complaint as is no longer fit for purpose.

This is the severe damage @SamsungUK pointed out to me that was not normal wear and tear so invalidated their warranty on a £1000 phone. They want £330 to fix hinge issue on flip phone this "severe" damage has caused. Very very disappointed as have never had any other issue.

@SamsungUK Yesterday your engineer in the Stratford shop told me that the fault on my phone with the hinge would not be covered by your warranty because of this mark. He used a microscope camara to show me the mark. This is normal wear and tear so should be covered. Where can I complain.
