Psychologists: If you needed one final wafer-thin reason to push you over the cliff into joining the b l u e app, surely the presence there of @DrPrimestein has to be the tipping point that causes your paradigm to shift?
Huh, I'm not sure about this one -- what about all the ethical lapses we don't know about because no one has written about them! Cool topic for a hackathon? #SIPS2019
I strongly believe that the widespread norm that it is acceptable to not share non-significant results, even though we know how hugely problematic publication bias is for reliable knowledge generation, will be seen as the greatest ethical lapse of scientists in my generation.
@Notawful @BraedenFHall Our marketing department came up with this one when there were lots of negative comments about facial feedback on social media. I'm glad you like it and hope I can get you interested in my other products as well! https://t.co/GbHGPTAvSY
As long as there are psychologists with nonsignificant findings, we should all support the Society for the Improvement of Ps. Look out for my p-hackathon next year! #SIPS2019#SIPrep#RedefineYourAlpha
I really enjoy listening to your latest episode of "Two psychologists, four beers", @minzlicht@yorl https://t.co/KS3PDrw6FN. Would be curious about a Dutch version: "Two psychologists, one blunt (the other moderately polite)" @lakens@RolfZwaan, any takers?
The more I think about it, "voodoo #psychology" is an apt term for social priming.
"Just say the magic word 'Florida,' and the target of your curse will act old." @DrPrimestein https://t.co/OO2OqXQaB5
