Even sugar-free ketchup can be a better option for keto, but it’s important to check the label for hidden carbs and artificial sweeteners. Some sugar-free versions use ingredients like stevia or erythritol, which are more keto-friendly. However, always verify the total carb content per serving, as some brands may still contain small amounts of sugar or starches that can add up if you use larger portions. Choosing a truly sugar-free ketchup or making your own at home is the best way to stay within your keto carb limits.

Keto-friendly condiments include mayonnaise (seed oil-free), mustard (sugar-free), hot sauce (sugar-free), coconut aminos, and vinegar. Herbs and spices without added sugars or starches are also safe. Always check labels for hidden sugars, high-fructose corn syrup, or unhealthy oils. Making your own condiments at home is a great way to ensure they are keto-friendly.

Ketchup is often highlighted as a concern on keto because even small servings can contain significant hidden sugars. For example, one tablespoon of ketchup can have about 4 grams of sugar, and serving sizes are often much smaller than what people actually use. Many people use more than a tablespoon at a time, which can quickly add up and impact ketosis.
On a keto diet, it’s important to read labels carefully and consider sugar-free ketchup options or make your own to avoid hidden sugars. Even condiments that seem harmless can contribute enough carbs to affect your results if you’re not careful.
Krill oil is considered an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, specifically EPA and DHA. It is highly concentrated, well-absorbed, and contains phosphatidylcholine, which helps protect cell membranes. Krill oil also includes astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant that helps preserve the oil and prevent it from turning rancid. These qualities make krill oil a beneficial supplement for supporting heart, brain, and overall health.

Magnesium supplements, especially highly bioavailable forms like magnesium glycinate and magnesium citrate, can support muscle recovery, improve sleep quality, and help prevent cramping. These benefits make magnesium a popular choice for post-workout recovery and overall well-being.

Thank you for having me, Jesse. President Trump knows we can't Make America Healthy Again without America's farmers. That's why he signed an Executive Order directing @HHSGov, @USDA, and @EPA to scale regenerative agriculture to strengthen American farm resilience, rebuild soil health, reduce input costs, improve farm profitability, expand export markets, and support rural economies. 🇺🇸

Are you getting enough omega-3s?
The average person's diet is way too high in omega-6 fatty acids and too low in omega-3 fatty acids.
The ideal ratio of omega-6 fatty acids to omega-3 fatty acids is 1:1. However, the average ratio of these fatty acids for Americans is about 20:1.
The best and easiest way to balance your omega-6 to omega-3 ratio is to increase your omega-3 fatty acids.
Cod liver oil is a great source of omega-3, as are sardines, grass-fed beef, and eggs.

Collagen is essential for healthy hair, skin, nails, and joints.
When you’re 17, you have the most collagen you’ll have in your entire life. Then, as you age, you lose a significant amount of collagen. This leads to sagging skin, wrinkles, joint issues, and increased overall fragility.
To increase your collagen intake, consume collagen-rich foods like chicken skin or fish skin. You can also use animal bones, joints, and cartilage to make a variety of stews and soups. Bone marrow is another excellent source of collagen!
You can even try mixing collagen powder into your coffee!

5/ Ice Cream Cones
Factory-made ice cream cones are primarily refined flour, sugar, oils, and artificial flavorings.
They are low in nutrients, high in glycemic load, and when paired with ice cream, can cause rapid blood sugar spikes and promote inflammation.
Label terms have specific meanings. “Made with organic ingredients” equals 70 percent organic, “organic” equals 95 percent organic, and “100% organic” means completely organic.
