I’d really recommend anything written by Victoria and Ginny when doing qualitative research - their work was hugely helpful during my doctorate. #twitterEPs
I’m so lucky to work with such lovely colleagues - they threw me a surprise baby shower on my last day in the Centre 🤍 #multidisciplinaryteamwork#twitterEPs
My wonderful friend and former TEP colleague, Claire, is a daily inspiration to me and I’m so thrilled for her that all the incredible work she does has been recognised in this way

@SKhannaTEP I code things down the side of the page at the time (e.g., initials of who has said something or symbols for different solution-focused stages of consultation) which I’ve found makes my scribbles more organised and it’s then a bit quicker to write up parts of the report.
@ecuschieri More for printing it, but I went to print on a computer which used a different version of Microsoft and all my page numbers skewed 😱 so I’d say use the same version and/or check before printing.
Well done on completing your thesis and best of luck!
@Beckyhanmor Not sure how little a person you’re thinking of, Becky, but things like blocks, puzzles, Counting Bears, books, sensory toys, anything with colours and shapes... ‘Lets Play’ may be helpful if you haven’t seen it. Plus, Nursery classes are treasure troves for play things too 😊
My amazing friend, Becky, has written a book to support first time mums. Being as wonderful and thoughtful as Becky is, I’m sure this book will be a friendly voice and a kind, helpful hand so no mum feels alone during such an important time. Available on Amazon.
@EdPsychtrainee I remember this feeling well! Stick with it: you’ll get to know your data inside out and I’m sure all the time and effort will be reflected in your findings 😊 good luck!
@jgetaylor Someone I trained with did their thesis research on EP reports - she gained views from EPs, teachers and parents. I’d try to summarise the findings but I’m worried I would do her work justice! Let me know if you’d like a link to it and I’ll DM it 😊
