@rayhanarif07 A terrible attempt at a click bait post. If you want to get users over to your Droip / Kirky product, explain the benefits, rather than asking them general question and then reply with a variation of "interesting choice" rather than engaging in a meaningful conversation....
@ns123abc Nothing new, at @Slalom we've been extracting the logic from cobol and other legacy languages for a few years now, and converting it to a modern tech stack. Some mainframes are still there to stay, though most are on the way out. Check out our Zero legacy offering.

#USOpen2025#tennis novel recommendation:
David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest serves up a chaotic tennis academy in a dystopian future. A dense, witty masterpiece of addiction and despair. 📖🎾

@ClaudetteSurrey@BellicoseBestie@SustainableTall The ones that milk the system - yes. There is also a high number of police interventions in social housing neighborhoods. Just look up the crime rates in Toronto's Regent Park and Parkdale neighborhoods which have the largest concentration of social housing units.
@ClaudetteSurrey@BellicoseBestie@SustainableTall Not in Canada, people who live in social housing generally do not pay taxes. Some of them work the low paid jobs with earnings so low that they get the full tax refund. Plus, you have lots of ppl who live in social housing and work under the table.
@sunnytrochaniak@EtchWPOfficial@my_surecart@InstantHQ Agree, the lack of the official marketplace is a bummer, hopefully they'll change that. As to why Bricks templates, there is a huge user base of hobby builders (like me) who are content with Bricks and do not need the Etch type of a builder but would love better Bricks templates
@Lars_Neo_@LayAngels@disclosetv@grok No, they are not willing to work, and the employers are not willing to pay fairly those who work. Plus, the youth is not interested in trades, or any form of manual labor. Good luck trying to find someone to care for the elderly in the village, or to chop the firewood for them.
@disclosetv If the EU ever opens the door to Serbia (which I do not expect it will) you can expect 1M+ people to leave the country immediately and take low paying jobs in the EU that they do not want to do at home.
@disclosetv On top of that, the younger generation is not interested in trades or manual labor, they all want to make quick money, preferably by screwing someone over, and move on. Many of them are looking for a chance to leave the country..
@disclosetv Multiple reasons for that: high corruption rate coupled with non existent employment laws make it very difficult to start a company and/or maintain a gainful employment. Employers would often hold salaries back by a few months and never pay them to their employees.
