@o2felt@misfitpatriot_ Conservatives used to eschew Alex in the Bush years. Then they started loving him when he was bashing Obama and the Deep State/Democrats, thinking that meant he was truly one of them.
@bonchieredstate If America wasn't facing the exact same problems as other Western countries, and didn't have the exact same people enabling it all, this argument would be more convincing.
@dangainor In other words, the issue is not freedom of association in and of itself, but that it's praised for one group but condemned for the other, instead of just letting people associate with whom they want, when they want. But true freedom of association has diluted since the 60s.
@jasonahart@JDVance@TuckerCarlson Too many older conservatives are so used to associating communism with lefty social freaks, that they forgot that "social conservative" socialists can exist. Just look at Quebec. Or how the Jacobins and Bolsheviks encouraged revolution by detailing the decadence of the elites.
@ConceptualJames Boomer and Gen X conservatives remain so complacent about this. They're so assured that Republicans and MAGA are guaranteed a win because "these woke lefty commies are crazy, we're normal, lol!"
As an external analyst watching events unfold, I have come to a sobering conclusion. America stands on the cusp of destruction and conquest.
I have no doubt many will push back on this post, call it alarmist, and tell me how America has more registered guns and the 2nd Amendment. Having a gun and actually using it on something other than a target, a beer bottle or a deer is very different. You just need to take a step back and look at the total lack of will to fight across American society. It’s this weakness that has emboldened America’s enemies to make their move completely unopposed.
Its own laws and Constitution have become the Achilles heel that its enemies have learned to exploit with precision. The nation that served as the beacon of hope and democracy for decades is now being eaten away from within. It has reached the point where turning back may require unimaginable violence and bloodshed.
Within the next decade America will likely face a civil war for its very existence. Independence Day celebrations will give way to a grim focus on survival.
The roots of this fall trace back to World War Two. America delivered a decisive blow to Japan, but never fully defeated Nazi Germany in the same way. Tens of thousands of Nazis survived and relocated. Their ideology did not die. It embedded itself into Islam and communism. America fought subsequent wars against those forces but left them standing. History shows that unfinished enemies rise again stronger.
Today we are witnessing something unprecedented. All of Americas enemies have converged. They work together across military, political, economic, and ideological lines even if their end goals differ. The Democratic Party has transformed into a vehicle for Islamist and communist ideologies that have long opposed America. Funding flows from Qatar and other Islamic nations into education, institutions, the judiciary, and politics. Key advisors are compromised and bought. Even under Trump, internal betrayal continues.
Congressional majorities are narrow and already showing fractures. This setup allows the shift toward enemy control. It looks like ordinary politics on the surface but the noose tightens once the balance tips.
The Middle East developments add fuel. The fall of Assad has opened doors for greater Syria and Bilad al Sham ambitions with Damascus as a potential capital. Jerusalem and Al Aqsa sit at the heart of this struggle. Control of that epicenter means dominance over the origins of the three Abrahamic faiths. Islam sees this as the route to supremacy.
The crusades ultimately failed. Christianity retreated first to Europe and then America. Europe is nearly lost. Removing America clears the final obstacle.
Islam functions as one Ummah. Jihadists serve as its army waging asymmetric warfare. Not every Muslim fights, but estimates suggest ten to twenty percent hold extremist views. That equals two hundred million people. Combine that with state forces like Iran which fields over a million personnel and the scale dwarfs any conventional army. These forces embrace martyrdom. They show no fear of death. That gives them a powerful edge against societies where most people lack the stomach for fighting to the end.
Many extremist sects believe this is the prophetic moment. They must conquer the world and destroy the infidels to hasten the end days and the return of the prophet. There is no more time to wait.
America will fall politically first. We already see this happening. Then the greater war erupts. Domestic violence will explode. The world already feels insane because old lies are being pushed again. Propagandists exploit the tensions and lower support, and blame everything on Israel knowing pushback is weaker.
The central question remains. Does the West retain the will to resist before independence gives way to mere survival?
I have no issue with any pushback. Many think America is too great and untouchable.
My response to them is this…
So did Rome.
@MorEdge_Insight I really don't understand how older conservatives in particular can simultaneously warn about some of the things you say, but then go right back to cope amongst themselves because "MAGA" is in charge and "Murica is back and better than ever!".
@TheMilkBarTV 1) Anything "Boomers" hate, the Woke Right and the Left love. Anything "Boomers" love, they hate.
2) Both have Islamic sympathies because they want some semblance of Sharia, subconsciously, to stop the Western decadence conservatives, Christians, and old people failed to stop.
@JoelWBerry Conservatives know this, but at the same time want to brag about how so many people trying to come to the US proves how great the country is. True, the US is great, but can they not put 2 and 2 together? Remove welfare and see how many still try to come.
@HjgTweet@VickieforNYC They'd object to a Muslim trying to restrict them, but only if it's on a personal level, not as a greater political/cultural worldview. And even then, it won't be with the same energy as with whites.
@misfitpatriot_ The last Walk Away movement didn't produce conservatives, just disaffected Democrats who're fundamentally still left-liberal in mindset. They'd still vote Democrat if this was 2006, and not 2026. Many of them, at least online, are now gravitating to Woke Right Podcastistan.
@GBNT1952 A lot of Trump's speaking style on Truth, in person, etc. is emulating the conservative talk show host of the 90s through 2010s. If you've listened to talk radio for decades, it's easy to recognize. His older base enjoys that, even if they're critical of him on some issue.
@GBNT1952 Sometimes I think a lot of people on Trump's side are so used to leftist ops, and so used to "catering" to the "talk radio conservative crowd" (mostly Boomers and Gen X) that they think they can say enough buzzwords on any subject to make them cheer.
@bonchieredstate People have been trying to claim XYZ is a genocide since the 60s. They're jealous that one group got all the attention and sympathy, but not them, so they have to say "genocide" to stir it up.
@ConceptualJames But see, the older conservatives who still don't understand the Woke Right, will see this, laugh and be self-satisfied in how dumb the Left is and how normal they are, and ignore any warnings from you and others about Woke Right posturing as Christian warriors.
