I am not defending them but at the islands there is detailed underwater environments like the first picture shown. There's no way they could have detailed the underwater with a map this size given the release window.

They didnt intentionally make the maps or the game with esports in mind, Bungie has said that many many times but of course any game can be esports friendly. That's what was awesome is when the community was in full control of Halo Esports. Bungie made a fun game, the community made Halo Esports not the studio. See the problem?
You showed a video of a Midship remake. So of course I'm comparing it to the original game. You cared more about lighting in your face over vs what I see as something more fun.
Also 343 "remixed maps were the laziest things I've seen in gaming" Halo CE gets credit for having variety. Something 343 failed to provide at launch.

The weapons were not tuned any differently, they were tuned in general, they did change weapon around the weapons on the maps if thats what you mean lol, I believe in infinite later on they did actually nerf how fast the dmr shoots for arena, but not 100% on that because by then the games support just didn't live up to what I thought it could be.
Of course I used it as a negative, I also wish CE could have had that ax well! But at least they gave it to us & it elevated my experience playing with friends etc. It's something we looked forward to, I also complained about Reach back then too. Where do you see me defending CE & Reach? You original showed Halo 5 in a video. So I commented about Halo 5 but overall, being a day one fan of Halo in general, Bungie gave me more of what I love vs 343. Overall, but Bungie did make sacrifices as well which hurt the sandbox at times, I generally just got a more love for the game from the team at Bungie vs 343.
@ThelVanDamne@asha_shar@XBOX I think you arent seeing what I'm trying to say, I am never complaining about nerfs, I'm complaining that 343 couldn't separate there weapon sandbox in a way like bungie did. One for fun, one for ranked MLG. BR did more damage in mlg for example.
Are you trying to make 343 look bad on purpose?! I completely support this what Bungie did, it added for more of a dance with the Halo 3 BR with the bullet travel at the time. This with the melee update made the sandbox even more fun for its time. 343 weapons all have a super fast kill time, most are hit scan because people don't find projectiles/bullet travel as fun nowadays. It's why 343 made Halo 3 hitscan in MCC.
That was a conversation about current Halo games, I do not throw shade at Bungie for having static maps back then. 343 had every example in the world to create a physics based sandbox, CE actually had really great physics for the time, look at all the ways to retrieve weapons, camo etc in that game.
I have explained in every way, you ask for population numbers on a console game, I never spoke about specific numbers, I never said it had 1 million or 1,000 or that it's dead. You are trolling by asking for things I'm not talking about. I said what population is to me in a game. Facts? You sent one video of them telling you how important esports is to them yet they want the game to be fun. They thought Esports = tons of MONEY. It bled into the core experience & left the games sandbox feeling like shit, that's all I have said about that. That same guy didn't had the OG halo shotgun to infinite, you want to know his reasoning? You had to be too accurate to use that shotgun. He took away a core weapon of Halo, which made infection etc way less fun because they wanted the weapon sandbox to be balanced for team arena. Why the fuck are we forced to play with the same weapon sandbox as the pros? You defend this shit because you liked it. My opinion is, the studio failed because most didnt.
@ThelVanDamne@asha_shar@XBOX Well CE had maps that were clearly made for fun & I definitely still have fun in them to this day. Classic Halo BTB is always a good time.
