@British_Airways what a terrible experience flying with you this time. Flight home from Naples cancelled yesterday with a few hours notice. Finally back to LHR today and a 2 hour delay waiting for our bags. Appalling service!
@goldstone_tony@cpeedell@BMA_Consultants @BMA_JuniorDocs @BMA_SAS When will we know the results of the latest ballot for strike action? Ideally we need those results before voting on the deal. If there is no mandate for further strikes then surely we have to accept this.
From the https://t.co/SRx94MhB8E website... -Government acknowledges junior doctors salaries have dropped and that 35% pay award is what it would take to restore them.

I want to tell you a story
The story is mine, but the position I was in is not just mine, it’s a position many have been in
It’s about the time I did one of the most frightening things I ever did
And I’ve done a lot of frightening things…
I ‘returned to work’ as a surgeon
After a year of working in Australia 🇦🇺, here are my top 5 things the NHS 🇬🇧could replicate to help prevent a fatal haemorrhage of staff alongside pay restoration 🧵#medtwitter#NHS
There is a real risk that patient with eating disorders will be low on national list of priorities. This isn’t a minor issue that will improve without the necessary funding and training.
If your child with an eating disorder is an ambitious student, it can be hard to make adjustments to their academic path during treatment.
Remember: Prioritizing recovery is the best way to help them achieve their dreams.
Tragic for all concerned. Including the GP. There is such a high burden of psychological distress in young people. Ideally all should be offered swift face to face consultation, but it's not feasible with cuurent NHS resources.

@mrjamesob@LBC hearing that last call from Zara was so affecting. Have just signed up as a friend of the @TrussellTrust, if people can afford a monthly gift, or one off donation, they do great work.
