The Dream Whisperer follows legendary NY Knicks player Dick Barnett's relentless quest to ensure his civil rights-era college basketball team was not forgotten.

The Tennessee A&I Tigers broke barriers on the court while fighting injustice off it.

In 1957, they became the first HBCU to win a national championship before becoming the first team to win three in a row.

It was my honor to welcome them to the White House for the first time.

Today, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced that Dick Barnett will be inducted with the Class of 2024.

This is a long-overdue recognition for a leader on and off the court. It was my honor to welcome him and his Tennessee A&I teammates to the White House this week.
