Open air. Guests nearby. No hardened ballroom.

Presidents obviously need extraordinary security.

But that's precisely the point:

Security can follow the president without requiring a 650-seat ballroom.

If the underground facilities, communications and protective infrastructure are necessary, build the case for them.

But stop using “national security” as if it automatically proves the ballroom is necessary.

We watched as the Secret Service allowed an American flag to be lowered in slow motion, above their heads into the backdrop for the perfect photo shoot of a president during an attempted assassination.

Not only did the Secret Service allow this coward to raise his head during the incident, they allowed him to pop up and pump his fist and yell fight, fight, fight.

They next thing you know, he's making t-shirts, flags, caps, having gold coins minted. There's even a painting and a bronze sculpture of the incident in the White House.

You can't tell me that this wasn't just another faked business opportunity for a world class grifter. There was no danger. There was to threat to his life.

From that moment on, everything he's does has to be looked at through a side-eye.

After all, he's a reality TV show ringmaster.
