3. B7 Shaun Rudick walks it off.

WJ’s offense was smashing missiles all evening and began to fall in the 2nd half of the game. B7, B2B singles by Ethan Hsu and Shaun Rudick sends courtesy runner Grant Matalia home to give WJ it’s first ever state title.

2. T7 Tied 6-6

Urbana pressed all game. T7 with runners 1st and 3rd 2 outs. Drew Joncas proceeds to lay the hammer with a huge backwards K to end the inning. One of the top 2027 arms in the state and moves up the WJ’s #2 this spring.
