Skubal trade pushed the motivation past the tipping point with lower odds of winning this year and higher lockout odds next. Is what it is and taking best path forward

@jcalvinmeyer @Ken_Rosenthal No one gets mad at the Brewers when they trade expiring contracts (Ace Corbin Burnes cough cough) but still try to compete. It’s how teams not named the Dodgers or Yankees can compete year in and year out. By no means are we going back to rebuilding

@FilmstudyRavens I did call into The Fan in college pitching Flacco over Ryan their rookie year because of Flacco’s “golden arm” as I referred to it. I mentioned he would have more arm strength at 40 than most QBs that will be entering the league, so he should play for a long long time
