En Tobera (Burgos) hallamos un magnífico conjunto arquitectónico, formado por las ermitas de Santa María de la Hoz y el Cristo de los Remedios y un puente románico originando una de las estampas más bellas de las Merindades ⬇️⬇️⬇️

@Knightly_Hist The actors were totally blind in those OG helmets and they fumbled around like total mindless goons.
People say like "oh its Imperial self confidence that they dont take cover or aim down sights" but its really just Lucas figuring stuff out as he goes along like usual.
@amooooogus_n@CaptainLore_ "I dont understand stand why people hate it"
A lot of people dont even know yoda changed. I much prefer the orginal weirder guru version, so perhaps it helps to explain why people are split.
Though if I was 6 years old when I saw it, maybe I would prefer the crazy frog jumps.
@Lathrix Guns too small to justify an open cockpit. If it was like a tank destroyer or walking artillery, then it would have its own niche among the dreadnoughts.
Really, what spacemarine gets excited for autocannons and heavy stubbers? Thats gaurd stuff.
Hoy os presento uno de los castillos más impresionantes de la provincia de Salamanca. Se trata del Castillo de Monleón, en él destaca su gallarda torre del homenaje del S. XV, alcanza un total de 37 metros de altura ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Having studied the Miracles of Our Lady of Rocamadour and having followed the 12th-century pilgrims in my mind as they wind their way up steep mountain tracks and over river gorges on their mules or horses, I was delighted to discover that the terrain around Rocamadour is exactly how I imagined it! (Alas, no mules and few pilgrims today but you can't have it all!!)
The spectacular (if partially reconstructed) remains of the #Roman aqueduct at Segovia (Spain) - really gives a sense of how imposing these structures would have been in ancient cityscapes #Archaeology
🏰 The Pigeon Tower
📍 Lancashire, England
Built ~1910 for Lord Leverhulme, it served as a dovecote on the lower floors & a sewing room for Lady Lever at the top
Today, this distinctive stone tower remains one of Lancashire's most recognizable landmarks, overlooking the moors
An awesome example of Renaissance Field Armor!
This one is German, probably made in Augsburg, a city well known for its extremely high quality (and expensive) armor. It is dated 1524.
This one is a great mix of extreme high quality yet ruggedly simple, truly a “war harness.” The light decoration and roped edges add just enough decoration!
