When my kids did something wrong and hurt another person, they were asked to apologize. We’d accept the apology and give forgiveness. Their actions still had consequences, the punishment helping them to learn from their mistake. They are better humans as a result.
What would it look like to simply BE Jesus to another? The heart of Jesus is generous love. The hands of Jesus always lift up. The mouth of Jesus always speaks forgiveness and peace.
God overcomes the world's evil by taking it upon himself. This is also how we can lift others up: not by judging, not by suggesting what to do, but by becoming neighbours, empathizing, sharing God's love.
Hour of Prayer today 12:00p PST. Join me, wherever you are - for a few minutes or the whole hour- as we come before God by the Spirit and in Christ Jesus, trusting our prayers are heard and listening for God’s reply.
Peace and BE LOVED!

The love you have been given is a mighty ocean that will never run dry. Go, recklessly and generously rain the love you have been given on those who have been praying for relief.
Praying for all of Los Angeles County suffering from the affects of wildfires. May God protect the lives and the property of those living in the area and the lives and work of the courageous men and women fighting these fires.

“If we want to be like Jesus, here’s our simple and courageous job: Catch people on the bounce. When they mess up, reach out to them with love and acceptance the way Jesus did. When they hit hard, run to them with your arms wide open to hug them even harder.“@bobgoff#RootedCCDA
