You can get a good idea from their website what makes them tick - are they all about results, or are they trying to nurture a community? Think about what you can contribute to that ethos. Also some basic facts about the school

@BeckyHaestier @Beamathsteacher There's no harm in waiting - I waited until after Easter for precisely the reasons you say. There will always be loads of jobs around. Don't feel pressured to apply before you're ready, even if everyone else on your course has one (I was the last on mine) #mttschat

@FPacchiarini @BeckyHaestier @Beamathsteacher I also remember being told that you may think you are teaching secondary maths. but there's no such thing - it's just maths. You will need to teach everything from KS1 work to A Level
