We met with Dr Brian Conway this morning at the Ashtrey Recovery Resource Centre. We talked about ways we can continue to work together to provide seamles healthcare for homless folks in the DTES. He said - This is exactly what we need. Grassroots, frontline, street access showers, shelter, food and recovery services.

Its so nice talking to doctors that work on the frontlines and understand what is needed.

We all agree people need more help.

@VanCityVice @sarahblyth @oddfellowsent @rusmaynard Ah yes. There is nothing wrong with Capilano tap stock. But old pipes in building do lead to less than desirable drinking provisions. Most people venture out of their home to find water. For those who cant, this program helps.

Yearly we take part in a collaboration that delivers water to 27 SRO buildings. As we wish there could be even more, we are grateful for what we can do.
