For perspective, I know Bishop Adegbite right from when I was Secretary of CAN strategy and political committee. He has always been a very strong and open supporter of candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu. During the 2023 presidential election, he was one of CAN officials who openly supported Tinubu’s campaign. The secretary of CAN later became a member of Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council. They did not hide their partisanship.

This information does not make him a liar or a bad person. It just makes him partisan (which is not a bad or unusual thing considering he is now a political appointee of President Tinubu).

So, this is not your neutral voice. This is a fully-paid up supporter of President Tinubu

Suddenly, it is only Adeyemi that forged his appointment letter, broke into the Federal Secretariat, forged a plate number, forged the letters presented to international investors, forged a letter presented to the Head of Service, and even forged his way into the National Budget.

Adeyemi must be a genius to have pulled off all these things without being caught.

But then, the moment he said the amount they asked him to release as their cut for the favour they did for him was too much, everything suddenly came crashing down.

Now, everyone he fingered has been left to go unscathed without even an investigation, let alone prosecution.

Well, I do not pity Adeyemi because he brought the ant-infested firewood into his own house. It was only natural that the lizards would come visiting.

After all, if the percentage had been okay, would he have blown the alarm for everyone to hear?

The only people I pity are Nigerians who deserve the truth, yet might never get it after all.
