A majority of people lack a self (inner monologue)
They cannot understand how different people think, for the simple reason that they have no clue how they personally do either
Russell Crowe on Gladiator 2:
‘They failed, and they failed because they didn’t understand what made the first film so successful: it had a moral core. Here’s the thing, most people want that. On the surface, they might go for entertainment, but if they’re going to love something and keep it with them forever, like that movie? …The love for that thing is because of its moral core. All guys want to be that man who can stay that strong, and all women want a man who can love them in that way.’
@StrodeLuther@Geo_AW Oof, you're right. Tanking in China, too.
I think my point still stands, though. Most of these movies aren't made for the US market anymore, though.
@MrQuestX The Crimson Empire, before they suddenly and unexpectedly disappeared.
Now the Northern Confederacy of Graahl, the Iron Union of Morhal, and the Bright Empire of Horach all vie for supremacy.
@Nerdcognito In D&D, I agree.
Paladins in Sovereign Rule know better though, and serve the will of the Church of Undying Light. All disbelievers will be burned to ash in holy fire.
@LegionnaireFr@mikitaposts Me either, but an American with Irish ancestry is a hell of a lot closer to being Irish than someone from Pakistan.
Imagine bleeding and dying for independence from the English (with a lot of Irish
-American support), only to bend the knee to globalist mass immigration.
@LegionnaireFr@mikitaposts The Irish dipshits that say Americans with Irish ancestry are larping and don't count will also tell you that infinite Somalis or Indians are just as Irish as they are is the *chef's kiss*.
