Thanks to our 11 volunteers that joined us tonight on Cooley Road. Delighted to leave the place looking great with rubbish & weeds all removed. Extra special thanks to @dccscarea for spinning by just as we finished to take it all away. Perfect timing!
Sobering to read that w/o volunteer cleaning, many 🇮🇪 beaches& waterfronts wd be unusable in a cpl of months.Due to litter&dumping

New IBAL survey reveals almost 40% of rivers, beaches and harbours are “littered”. Environmental Education Unit Director, Michael John O'Mahony, speaks to @rte on the findings. https://t.co/DZ5LuXhfDI
We had a great time last night #plogging on #Sandymount Strand. Thanks to all who joined us & a huge thanks to @runlogic & #BuJoBurger Was a great event, some exercise, #sea air, excellent #burgers and 16 bags of litter collected. What a lovely way to spend a Wednesday evening.
A reminder that there's a clean up this Wednesday at 7pm. Meeting at the corner of Mourne and Comeragh road. Please join us for just an hour and make a difference. Every little helps. All equipment supplied. See you then.
@ConorEmerson@DubCityCouncil@DublinLitter@NoelRock It really is shameful. I've been to lots of European cities and it's the filthiest I've seen in a long time. I walk it everyday amongst the tourists and I'm honestly embarrassed.
Not excusing the filthy Irish public but do you really think this is acceptable @DubCityCouncil our city is shameful. When were the streets last cleaned & washed?? @DublinLitter@NoelRock
Pim St beside @homeofguinness The absolute state of the place this evening - rubbish and horse s**t left by carriage drivers who parked there earlier today - surely Diageo cameras know who’s doing this? @DubCityCouncil@dccscarea@DublinLitter
Wow, check out the amazing giant #octopus made from reclaimed & #recycled#marinewaste by the #ClogherheadCommunityGroup for the #SeaFoodRocks Festival in Clogherhead this weekend. Clean Coasts were delighted to be involved in this project. Amazing work. https://t.co/P4DLiPCAea
Often in the Garden of Remembrance, I see this seagull losing the run of himself. He doesn't even fly between the bins. He does his rounds on foot. A lid with a hinge would solve it. @DubCityCouncil@opwireland@DublinLitter
@DublinLitter Thanks for all your hard work. Privatisation in the inner city clearly doesn’t work. Probably doesn’t work anywhere if what we saw on RTÉ investigates this week is an indication of a country-wide problem.
