This is Mazen Hamada, a Syrian, who was jailed and tortured by the Assad administration. Hamada was subjected to devastating torture and saw others dying in similar situations. He did some interviews and statements that emphasized the widespread use of torture and abuse in Syria's jails.
After seeking asylum in the Netherlands, Hamada became actively involved in international campaigning, giving interviews and speaking at events to raise awareness about the situation of Syrian inmates. Four years ago, the Assad regime tricked him as he was desperate to visit his family in Syria; the moment he landed there, the regime arrested him. and sent him to the Sednaya slaughterhouse, and since then, no one has had any idea what happened to him.
Today, Hamad's dead body was discovered.. May his memory be blessed.

Never a fan of excess defense spending. But whatever treasure we're doling out on the national defense of the United States and its allies is all sunk-cost waste if one private citizen has sufficient authority to change the course of a war by just flicking off a satellite system.
Joos de Vries👌Het tijdperk-Rutte eindigt met aanzienlijk minder maatschappelijk vertrouwen in de politiek, met minder vertrouwen in openbaar bestuur, in de staat en in onze instituties. Dat is de erfenis van de schaamteloze lichtzinnigheid van Mark Rutte. https://t.co/XWGDfpusV8
We just made the most scientifically complete #NuclearWar simulation to date, from fires to famine. As you can see, about 99% die in the US, Europe, Russia & China. Winner: nobody.
