⚡️Fano ambush kills more than 20 regime soldiers, including a battalion commander, near Debre-Markos City, Sinan Woreda (📍East Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) on June 14th.
🔵 Fano units under the 24th Division (AFNM-TC 206th Corps) ambushed a regime military convoy that had departed from Debre-Markos City to deliver logistical supplies to forces stationed in Rebu-Gebeya town.
🔵 The attack triggered a brief but intense confrontation that left more than 20 regime soldiers dead and over 13 others seriously wounded. Among those killed was battalion commander Lieutenant Tariku Bekele Batisa, according to reports from the area.
🔵 Following the ambush, surviving regime forces reportedly retreated from the scene, leaving behind casualties and military equipment.
🔵 Fano forces captured firearms, ammunition, and additional military equipment abandoned during the withdrawal.

This footage was recorded in Dera, Shoa, just a few hundred kilometers from Addis Ababa. It shows armed forces associated with the group commonly referred to as OLF Shene, which is backed by elements within the country's security apparatus and in coordination with the regime's defense forces. These forces are being used as an instrument of violence against Amhara communities. The video below shows the mobilization of these armed groups in the Dera area of Shoa, where they are preparing to carry out serious atrocities against Amhara civilians in the area.
