@e3yugioh For current format locals it's really bad for new players. Every card in every deck has 3 effects, if new or returning players have to learn all that before participating to not cause double losses due to spending time reading, they'll just play a different game.

@parrotisbig @distantcoder Have slowly been getting into current yugioh while spending time with friends at locals after a big break. If I was required to learn all 3 effects of every card released in the last few years before participating, I would simply not enter the tournament. Nice accessible hobby.

@SatanicWren @FarfaYGO I think its unlikely that a format being solved is possible. There would have to be am exact 40 card combination of cards thats better against any other combination of cards than any other combination of cards, including copies of itself. That's never going to happen.

@SkarlonYGO @FarfaYGO It does count the deck to confirm the number of cards for the opponent. But you can also do that by counting that there are still 15 cards in the side deck. Mid game there's no reason to do it.

@ruxin34 @e3yugioh They can easily profit from time wizard. They've been doing it already. They just need to open a side event at each ycs, print 3 giant cards and 8 rubber mats, and they already cashed in on retro reprints in several sets.
