Honestly, it should have never even began taking off. That huge ass truck would have been easy to spot with a normal look left, look right, and look left before taking off. If you think this saved your life then that’s more of a testament as to your shitty ass human driving skills then to the ability of a driverless vehicle that isn’t ready for autonomous driving.

Actually that’s an expansion going Southward. After recently seeing a Waymo cut in front of 2 lanes of vehicles for an unprotected left I don’t think any of these companies are truly ready for driverless scenarios. It’s going to take some people dying before cities and states ban them. It’s just a matter of time… And with a company that is so serious that they make their geofence shaped into a pecker I sure as hell aren’t putting trust into them actually providing the safest service possible in their rush to get to market.

It looks like it had plenty of room and is lucky someone didn’t rear end it since it’s not normal to stop midway between a turn. It should have never started the turn if there wasn’t room. The other Tesla was already sitting there so why did it start the turn if there wasn’t enough room?
