Hi, I'm Rookie 👋 Solo dev building a dark illustrated RPG where every sword clash should mean something.
I use AI tools, but I direct every pose, every hit, every sound. Most attempts get rejected.
Keeping the game hidden for now. Sharing the journey. ⚔️

What Clair Obscur gets right that most RPGs miss: a parry isn't a defensive button. It's a conversation. Every enemy attack asks you a question. #gaming#RPG
@Lama_GameStudio The Warlock of Firetop Mountain energy is real 😄 A labyrinth built on the tension of every choice is a great goal. Looking forward to seeing more of Dragvas!
@AlchemicBeasts For me it's when two beasts that can't stand each other end up being your best combo. Do your Beasts have rivalries too, or only friendships?
@ringlas Armour so good that arrows start healing you is the most RPG bug ever. Part of me hopes it survives as a secret 😄 Congrats on the Early Access date!
@culaliya A cat samurai toppling a whole castle is the kind of pitch I click on instantly 🐱 Love that the parry is part of the offense, not just a way to survive.
@GatoInaryGames Not a narrative designer, but as a solo dev: AI is great for brainstorming names and lore threads. The dialogue itself I always rewrite by hand, otherwise every character ends up sounding the same.
@SecretCharGame Love that the Orc fight happens in such a moody forest. Is the ground slam something you can see coming, or do you learn it the hard way?
