At my jobs in Jewish organizations, at my synagogue, at my Jewish dinner tables, across Jewish op-eds, journals, blogs and podcasts we have spoken for years about how Israel’s behavior is fueling antisemitism.
It’s not surprising that Republicans are calling Hasan Piker antisemitic for saying the same thing. But I am surprised I’m still surprised it’s the Democrat establishment helping them lie.
After all, throughout history, like clockwork, the liberals have always feared socialism more than fascism. Which is just a compact way to say they fear the power of ordinary people more than they fear a dictator.
In Gaza, the Israeli military is installing gates between the earth berms which mark the ‘yellow line’.
Similar to those used in the West Bank, the new gates allow Israel to further control the movement of people and goods in and out of the area where Palestinians are concentrated.
They are part of a system of Israeli military infrastructure that extends and consolidates its control during the ceasefire.
Israel is still murdering children in Gaza.
Israel is still murdering children in Gaza.
Israel is still murdering children in Gaza.
Israel is still murdering children in Gaza.
Israel is still murdering children in Gaza.
Israel is still murdering children in Gaza.
Put Hasan aside. It should concern you that the Democratic Party has launched a coordinated smear campaign based on nothing he actually said against a private citizen who is not in or running for office. This reveals how comfortable they are with just lying to the voters.
The genocide never ended. The Israeli apartheid government is carrying out an ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, using bombs that say “Made in the USA”.
It’s unconscionable. Our government must stop funding genocide. Arms Embargo NOW!

As Arundhati Roy said, what is under the rubble in Gaza is not only the bodies of countless Palestinians killed by Israel, but also the carcass of Western Liberal Democracy...
i think jon ossoff's best strengths came from his lack of interest in attacking his left flank & focusing on trump's corruption & scandals instead. i said he was a dark horse because he's been smart enough to back restrictions on weapons transfers to israel at times regardless of his incredibly conservative voting track record otherwise.
this is part of the reason why many zionist orgs in georgia that masquerade as jewish advocacy orgs have aggressively condemned the jewish senator at times and still dangle their endorsement over mike collins who has literal white nationalists ties.
i just wish people were more truthful about this entire ordeal. the last 48 hr media frenzy is exactly why people don't trust institutions from corporate media to our bought & sold political class. most of these orgs, and plenty in the media will operate like lapdogs for aipac with no care or consideration for nuance, the truth or how the majority feels about anything.
this crisis of credibility for msm has been beneficial for me personally as an independent media personality, but i still naively believe that these institutions are worth preserving and defending at a time when we have no consensus reality.
This is not true. This is a lie. He hasn’t done that. He has argued that rape by Hamas on October 7th wouldn’t justify, or change the dynamic of his opposition to, Israel’s subsequent attack on Gaza.
Does CNN not have a standards department anymore?
Remember, the ‘safety’ or ‘feelings’ of non-Zionist students never ever matters on US campuses. Can you imagine being an Arab-American student at Columbia who lost family members in Palestine or Lebanon and seeing this?
I’m Jewish. Pointing out Jews defending Israel is fanning the flames of antisemitism isn’t anti-Semitic, it’s factual, and more of us need to do it.
If you spent half as much energy stopping Israel as you do stopping criticism of them everyone would be safer in their temples.
I do feel like the Dem party leadership crossed into some new level of mendacity with this week’s blatant and deliberate twisting of Hasan Piker’s words. To get mad about something he said is one thing. To fabricate something and then claim to be mad about it is a declaration of war against an internal coalition rival. Because the left won the major Senate primaries this cycle, they have to focus on beating Republicans first, but the party leadership made clear this week that they are not up for sharing power, that it’s going to have to be a fierce and dirty battle
I can't recall many more egregious instances where both parties and corporate media unite to so blatantly distort what someone said.
Hasan Piker said nothing anti-Semitic. It was a basic point routinely made about the dangers (and falsehoods) of conflating Israel and Jews.👇
🇳🇵🌊 Nepal flash flood kills at least 95, hundreds missing
➤ A massive flash flood swept away villages in Nepal’s mountainous Rasuwa district near the Tibet border Wednesday, killing at least 95 people and leaving hundreds missing, including 384 tourists and eight South Korean employees at a hydropower project.
➤ Across the border in Tibet’s Gyirong county, a mudslide caused “major casualties” and cut off roads, communications, and power, prompting Chinese President Xi Jinping to call for “all-out” search efforts.
